Stop Smoking Agreement

 

Your Quick and Easy Solution

NLP & hypnosis are found to be the most effective method in stopping easily and quickly. However, I don't expect patients to come half hearted - MAKE UP YOUR MIND TO STOP and bring this agreement to your session.

I cannot stop you smoking. I cannot make you do anything that you do not want to do; it must be your decision to stop. The use of NLP, TFT and hypnosis will help to strengthen your inner resolve. When your unconscious mind accepts the suggestions that your have become a non-smoker, usually there will be no withdrawal symptoms or strong cravings, however, it will only accept this if you really do want to stop.

  • What’s your motivation to stop? Why now?
  • Why did you smoke?
  • What do you expect?
  • Can you imagine yourself being a non-smoker? What do you look, sound, feel like?
  • Remember it’s your choice whether or not you want to smoke again.

There are a few things you must consciously understand before we start:

  • Before or after the session you must throw away all cigarettes. Do not even leave an “emergency supply” hidden away as this is indicating to yourself that the session may not work, and it will only be a matter of time before you start again.

After the session:

  • Stay away from cigarettes . Sometimes people are very surprised about how easy it all seems and they start to believe that they can have just one. As soon as you lift that cigarette you are a smoker again and your body will start to crave for more. Set yourself a stop date that you are comfortable with. You should stop completely. There is no evidence to suggest that giving up gradually is easier. People who wish to quit but continue to smoke occasionally are at higher risk of resuming regular smoking than those who stop completely.
  • Don’t panic, you will have the occasional notion for a cigarette, this is normal, and even people who have been non smokers for years experience this. You will soon think about something else.
  • Focus on the reasons you have become a non-smoker, use your relaxation & self hypnosis tape (given in the session) to reinforce your belief that you will remain a non-smoker.
  • Reward yourself spend some of the money you now have in your pocket on treating yourself to things that make you feel really good, you can now afford to.

If you go ahead on the basis that you are sure you really do want to be a non smoker it is up to you to confirm your commitment to remaining a non smoker.
